The majestic mountain range with tops white of snow with rock embedded with creeks of silver. Under certain moments of the year, when the moon lushing rays could hit the glimmering veins, did the mountains glow like magic.
In the human tongue did they call it the Silver Mountain, while the inhabitens called it Gurdag'hol. The Mountain of Life and Rich, were the dwarves lived.
The rulers of the earth and rock, jewels and minerals.

Deep under the hard stone, did hammers and pickaxes echo, joing song with the dwarves voices. Gold, silver, drahkna, jewels, obsidan and so much more. Their riches just grew and the marvelous kingdoms grew where it wasn't seen.
Once upon a time all was welcome to dwarven kingdoms in the vast mountain, but as it got abused and some of their greatest artifacts was stolen, have they shut the gates for outsiders. They became secluded and lived for themselves as outsiders couldn't be trusted, and only the upper levels near the surfaces is allowed for outsiders, were trades and merchandise shift hands.
But the great kingdoms are forever closed for outsiders eyes.

Under thousand of years have the dwarves been a mystery, secluded and not seen on the surface, until the first war of the Prophecy. From the mountain did the Eight Kingdoms of Dwaves send their armies in support of Order and Light, as they joined forces with the outsiders. Human, elves, dwarves, trolls and more stood side by side.
Yet, among some dwarves had greed become a sickness, their thirst for gold and riches defiled their minds. As the war ended on the surface, did a new war start underground as the greatest of dwarven kingdom, Kernakhz, laid siege to the smaller kingdom Nefka and destroyed it within days.
Such travesy, betrayal, was beyond their understanding as the dwarves of Kernakhz attacked the other kingdoms like possessed.

The other kingdom joined forces, and was finally able to repell Kernakhz, and pushed them into the deepest of mountains, the dark Gurgal mountain were they were sealed. The kingdom of Danderbrack put up the walls and became the guardians that would keep Kernakhz and their taint looked in forever, while the remaining five kingdoms rebuilt what had been lost.
Yet, in the depths of the mountains did darkness and evil still linger, and the brave dwarves of Danderbrack couldn't protect the walls forever.
The great Zurmakk wall, will fall.

------

Among the few survivors of the Nefka kingdom was the Ket Kazhur family, that had been a highly regarded noble house in the kingdom. Often been advisors to the royal family and guardians, had they had a large affect on the kingdoms ruling.
Although just a handful survived the fall of Nefka, is their blood still strong and the remnants of the great family sought home in the kingdom of Crion. Even if they didn't gain the same nobelty as in Nefka, did they gain right to their shield and clan name.

Bofmir Ket Kazhur, was the only surviving son of Kurimh Ket Kazhur, the previous head of the family and general of Nefka. Just a mere child when the war broke out, did Bofmir have a large shield to grow with. And so he did with bravur, as he became one of the greatest warrior in the Crion kingdom.
His family was proud, and even if he never got a son, did his three daughter follow in his steps, carrying his strong blood with them.
Dolana, Zabim and Kurina.
All three born to be great warriors, like their father and grandfather before him.

When Bofmir and his group of warriors vanish on the surface after a scouting mission, did it not take long time until Dolana left the safe mountains, going to a world she never been in before. Far from the safety of the mountain, does Dolana go through many hardships as she try to adapt to the surface world.
As well will she grow stronger and learn to know many good spirits in the open world. That many aren't different then her.
A bit of story about the dwarfs in Chardis Realm, living in the vast mountain kingdom Gurdag'hol, granting a bit about Dolana history as well. :)

Dwarfs have always been one of my favorite races in fantasy, ever since I started to dabble in fantasy stuff 15 years ago. :dummy: *So love the Hobbit, dem dwarfs!*

But yosh, will be more for sure. :)
