"And now over to the Sport News; I heard the Ghostball season have been tough this year Akira-san!" The news-ancor smiled as the camera shifted over the sports-reporter that smiled wickedly. "Oh it have been! The top three teams are just one point from each other; Moon Artillery, The Jackals and The Wrecking Hurricanes are really sharp this year, where every single point is important!"
Miyabi had never really dived into any kind of sport. The interest was never there really. Surely she had joined P.E classes and all as any good student did, but never did a sport grasp her heart and will like for these athletics.
No, her life had been exactly as she dreamed of; she studied and succeeded to become a writer and housewife. Married her boyfriend Hisame after been done with school and at age of 29 had two beautiful angels, Hana and Shinta.
Sports, that never occurred for her to do.
Not until things drastically changed for her.

"You're blood pressure isn't good." declared the doctor after a quick check-up that made the pink-haired female to flinch slightly. It of course sent impulses through her body and her lips started to tremble a bit. "H-how bad is it?"
Doctor Hanami looked over the glasses at the worried young woman. "Oh, it's not so bad dear, don't worry. You just need to start excising a bit. Your health-record have showed that you had trouble with your heart before?" he asked and looked through her journal as she nodded. "Y-yes, a little bit."
"And you got medicine for it, good. But I think the remaining problem is that you sit still to much, you need to start some physical activity. Maybe join a sport-club?"
"Sport-club?"
"Why not? Good time to meet people as well get some healthy exercise that is needed."

So that was it.
Miyabi expression were thoughtful as she walked, her red eyes barely noticing what happened around her as she walked slowly along the street. A bag of grocery hanged from her arm, and her mind was filled by what she would make for dinner. But also... a sport-club?
"Miiiiiya-taaaan!" Suddenly it was a green flash that jumped Miyabi's back and hugged the surprised woman. "Minorin-chan?"
"Haiiiiii!" The much smaller girl grinned big times as she let go and moved around Miyabi. A high-school girl, at her 17  and rather popular on TV. Dark skin, bright green hair and eyes was her smile really sparkling.
Then again, was Minorin's entire persona like that, and what made her famous in the teen TV-show she was in. "What'cha doing here?"
Miyabi chuckled as the teen-star was curiously checking the bag. "I were buying for dinner. Maybe you want to join us today as well?"
"I would looooove that! Miya-tan makes much better food then any restaurant!"
"Oh, don't say that Hun, not true."
"Pfff, my taste-buds beg to differ!"
It was always hard to not smile when Minorin was around. Miyabi had known Minorin since she was born, as their family been close friends since their parents. However, had Minorin's parents died in a car-accident nine years ago, leaving the girl to live at her aunt.
Yet, most of the time, did Minorin spend at Miyabi and her families home.
"Do you know any... sport-clubs around here Minorin-chan?" she asked and looked at the small girl that frowned deeply. "Oooooh... Sport-clubs? Well, not sure. Why?"
"Nothing, I thought of maybe start to sport a bit. You know, good for the health and all." she said with a reassurance smile.
"Hmm... Depends on what sport you want to exercise. Soccer, swimming?"
"Not sure, not so good with sports..." Miyabi sighed a bit as they walked by shop, just for her to turn around and look at the window. "Ooohh! Maybe this!"
Minorin put her face to the glass and looked at the mannequins wearing simple sport-cloths, like bikinis for beach-volleyball. But she instantly knew that was not for that sport.
"Ghostball?" she said and frowned a bit while Miyabi blinked. "Ghostball? Is that the name of it?"
"You... have no idea what Ghostball is?"
"No, I just thought that outfit looked kind of cute."

"Ghostball is like... Super awesome and dangerous game on sand!" Minorin exclaimed and nearly jumped with her arms straight up.
"Wow, that sounds really fun." Miyabi clapped her hand together; it was obvious that they both imagined two completely different things. "I think I should give it a try."
"But there is no sport-club for it in town, just a division team that you just cant join."
"Well... maybe I create a little sport-club then?" When Miyabi put her mind to something, she could become very stubborn and Minorin knew that as she sighed a bit and smiled. "Okay Miya-tan, if you say so, I will join to!"
Both laughed as they talked more about it, bought a set of the simple outfits. The more the talked, the more ideas they got and it got just more fun and excited, maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all?
At home did they meet Hisame that was preparing the dinner; a tall man with short black hair and sharp purple eyes with a scar over his lip. In the wrong setting you could think he was yakuza, but in fact it was the opposite as the man was an officer. "Welcome home Miyabi, and you to Minorin-chan." He said with a smile and kissed Miyabi.
"Hiiii Hisa-san!" Replied Minorin with a grin and walked through the appartment as she lived there, which she did sometimes to find Hana to play around with.
"What did the doctor say?" Hisame looked worried at Miyabi that smiled a bit as she put down the bag on the bench, and slowly started to put the grocery to place. "He said my blood-pressure wasn't good, that I needed to start exercise. Some sport."
"Oh, I see." He said relieved, that it wasn't worse. "Any sport in mind?"
"Well, me and Minorin-chan thought of starting a--- Oh! Forgot the laundry!  Be right back Hun!"

Quickly Miyabi had run over to the neighbour and knocked on the door, hearing children running around and crying. Soon the door opened and a tall dark skinned woman with blonde hair peeked out. "Oh, hey Miyabi, here for the laundry?" she asked and grinned as she let in the other.
"Yes, thank you for letting us borrow your wash-machine Bob-san. Terrible inconvenient that our broke yesterday." She sighed a bit as she followed Bob through the apartment, smiling and waving at the children they met. "Sorry to bother you like this with it."
"Oh, bite me Miyabi, it's not a bother, I told ya that!"
"Still, really appreciate it."
"Freebie boob-squeeze for that ~"
Miyabi just laughed as they entered the laundry-room, and worked together to take care of both set of laundry.
"Ghostball? Are ya serious?" Bob blinked surprised when Miyabi mentioned about a club. "Yes, thought it could be fun to try. You aren't interested to join?"
"Ah, no, sorry, only one type of ball I'm good with---"
"Bob-san!"
Bob laughed as Miyabi blushed, quickly putting the laundry in a basket and thanked for borrowing the wash-machine. The dark female stood at the door and looked at Miyabi that walked over to her house.
"Ghostball huh?"

The sand field in Kagura Town wasn't any great really, even if it was made for Ghostball and sand-based sports in mind. However, for the first timers was it more then enough. The sun was gushing, it was warm in the air with a soft breeze and pretty much empty on people.
"Oh, I feel a bit embarrassed now." Miyabi blushed as she stood in the bikini-set that was made for the sport, and poked her belly a bit. "Belly, we meet again..."
"You look great Miya-tan!" Minorin giggled and hugged Miyabi from behind, dressed in the same outfit.
"I never thought you would ask me to join for some Ghostball Miyabi-san." A dark-haired female said with a soft voice and smile, dressed in a simple one piece suit in black with red and yellow stripes. "Oh, glad to see you join us Jusace-san."
Miyabi smiled and talked quickly with Jusace that trembled a bit nervous, a shy and nervous young woman.
Soon, in a expensive red Lamborghini, did an orange-haired beauty walk down the stairs like she was a queen.
"Aurora-san! I didn't think you wanted to join!" Miyabi laughed while Aurora put up the sunglasses on her forehead and smiled. "Of course I do, I have some days off anyways and sounds a bit more fun then running."
Soon the red headed Himawari sisters, Nobara and Eri, joined as well.
It was a mixed group of women for sure.
Aurora was co-owner and worker on Soul Edge Lawyers with her husband Yuuren. At the same age as Miyabi had they been classmates since they could remember, and Aurora had been incredible successful and achieved a lot. Beauty and intellect in one package.
Jusace was a bit younger, once their kouhai in school and was now working in a child-daycare with glee, fitting her caring and lovable person.
Nobara was at the same age as Miyabi and Aurora, however was in a parallel class. A bit chubby one eyed woman that worked as a nurse in the hospital, rather stingy but nice withing.
Eri was her younger sister, and clearly a woman of sport that is a good track and field runner among other things. Although known for drinking a bit to much as well and makes a mess for her sister.

"Hmm, we are one girl short." said Minorin and pouted a bit.
"We are? And I thought we were good to play." Miyabi sighed as Minorin waved her hand. "But no worries, the STAR fix that you see! I called some friends, after all, what is Ghostball without any opponents ~?"
They all looked at each other, and was surprised when a group of high-school girls came walking, with happy sounds like chirping birds.
"My school Ghostball-club, Team Skylit!" Minorin said proud, after all, with her good contacts had she made it possible. "And this is the team leader, Nanami Shion." She waved at a taller girl with hair mixed in brown and black, smiling back. "Heard Mini-chan needed help, and would be fun to play against other people for once."
"Don't call me that!" she hissed like a cat. To be called small or little, was taboo around Minorin and hated the name Mini-chan.
"Excuse me, but we still lack one player in our team?" Aurora crossed her arms over her chest and looked at the other team of high school girls. "And you seem to be only seven, so we can't borrow one."
She understood it was seven people in each team.
"Whaaaat? Oh,  Tai is missing?" said the greenhaired teen-star while Shion grimaced. "Yea, date with reptil-boy."
"Aww, dang it."

Hearing someone sing nyan nyan nyan made Minorin to suddenly grin evil. "Purrfect!" she said and jumped like a monkey over the bench and ran against the road.
Maja was one of those weird otaku girls, so deep in the mud when it came to anime that the glassed eyed girl wear cat ears and tail daily, singing themes from Sailor Moon and such. Like Minorin, where both attention seekers, to be something greater.
"MAJA! RAWR!" Like a tiger did Minorin threw herself of Maja that shrieked surprised and tumbled over the ground, spitting and cursing. "What was that for, Mini-baka!?"
"Don't make up my name with two mean words." Minorin said with teary eyes.
"Okey, sorry, but you should act like normal people."
"YOU are one to talk!"
"I AM!"
" I WANT YOU TO JOIN MY GHOSTBALL TEAM!"
"OKAY--- Wait, what?"
"She is in!"
"WAIT A MINUTE!"

Miyabi chuckled over the spectacle, it was surely good energy here, making her feel ready for anything. "So... we are two full teams now, Minorin-chan?" she asked and the other nodded. "Yup! The team is ~"

A new project I started today, to keep an depressive mind from self-loathing! xDDD  Instead of drenching myself in self-pity, I drench myself in projects to keep my mind occupied. : >

So talked with MyangHime this morning, talking about how I had an idea of commission some OCs around here in a sport theme, and we dabbled a bit and suddenly I came up with the idea of Ghostball! Mix of different sports, with the swedish name of Dodgeball, Spökboll directly translated to Ghostball, was a new sport and event created~!

These stories will follow Miyabi and her friends as they create a team and trying to reach higher and higher goals, to become a great team and master the sport of all times; Ghostball!

Many OCs will join, some more, other less ~ And I hope people don't mind that, if you do, don't hesitate to tell me. :)
