Aaaand here comes one of the bad guys in Chardis Realm, one of the Seven Noxim, lords of darkness. A purely awesome pic drawn once again by Myang, showing the tremendous, yet simple enforcer of darkness. A true barbarian king of darkness =v=~ Sorry for the spam, dont hate me. D:

Balkan Lifebane, was once a great champion of Iceland, known as the Champion of Elm named Balkan Stormfury. His great combat prowess, leadership and power were so great, that he became he not only became the front-figure for Iceland, but many other nations, leading them against the dark forces in the first Great War. However, it came with great costs as he wounded the dark god of Chaos, Efoss. 
When the war was over, didn't he have a place in the growing and peaceful society that came there after. He became a relic of the past cruelty and darkness; he was put to trial for war-crimes, both for those he committed and others not. He would mark the end of an dark era. This betrayal for what he have done for all the living and of light, made him open for the malicious darkness that had haunted him since he struck the dark god. Suddenly, the chaotic and dark energy took hold in his body, and to spare the people around him, did he escape because his blood-thirst became uncontrollable. In the Second Great War just a while after, was he the Champion of darkness, leading the dark forces and like he had struck the god of Chaos, Efoss, did he struck down the god of Order, Paladir, and thus was got blood of two gods in his weapon.

However, Paladir sacrificed himself, and Balkan's great ax was shattered, and from that point did the Light win again over the Dark. Balkan was seen killed by the Champions of Light. That was what they thought. Having both light and dark blood within him, did it protect him from death. He have been bidding his time, collecting the pieces of his ax, to once again wage war against the light and living, and this time, succeed to destroy it all. 

Balkan is one of two living beings that have survived a transition from human to demon, and is considering a demi-god duo his immense power. Though weaker duo the lack of his ax. And duo the mix of light and dark within him, does he still possess partly a human shape, as well does holy magic not do greatly towards him unlike most demons and dark figures, making him just even more dangerous of a warrior. And not to mention that he gaining more allies, among them the powerful and wicked dryad Nephilim ~

He is great ancestor to two hot-headed Icelanders; Iris and Lufia ~ =v= *Guess they got it from him xD*

So, a bit about one of the great evil champions (yet sad ones) in Chardis Realm! More will be shown about him and others in the stories. c:
