Yorumei is the very essence of cold killing machine, as she seem to lack the ability to feel emotions, always bringing a cold aura and glare. Her voice is rather monotone with a cold chill to it, another thing pointing out she seem to lack emotions; even in the heat of battle does it never change. There is no mercy in her, cause as soon someone gets a mark of death she won't stop until the target is dead, even if it is a fellow captain or enemy, it does not matter, the moment she get a target she don't hesitate to kill it.

It's not uncommon thing that she can attend to a meeting without speaking a word, and vanish without no one notice it; however she can speak her mind, and that in her cold manor, sharp and harsh when giving orders.  Her demeanor is such that no one dare to oppose her, even the most hardened veteran get chill down the spins and mostly find it better to obey then learn about what happen if you don't obey.

Her cold way and lacking of emotions serves well in other ways then assassinations; torture. Through many years have she mastered the way to cause the most gruesome pains with little effort, crushing the will of her target if needed for information. Everything she can cause in harm's way have she herself suffered through; the iron discipline of pain, know it yourself and you know what hurts the most.

That is one reason to her cold ways, the pain and suffering her body and mind have endured under hundreds of years; it shaped her. She also has an obsessive hatred against the arrancars, duo her lost stories, as well having little or no thoughts about the average male. Even if she is cold against all, is it obvious that she despise the male sex even more, and one reason that there is more females then males in the Omnitsukido.

Though she isn't completely without emotions, she can show them but that is incredible rare, she simple try to never lose to her feelings; it's a weakness. One of her weakness is her marked body; mostly she don't care if people ogle at her body, she see it mostly as a weapon [a beautiful and well cared one]. However, seeing the tattoos that are marked on her body is something she never would do, and that is one thing that clearly would disturb her cold collected mind.

Appearance
Yorumei is a woman of average height, with cold eyes that looks like polished silver. In contrast to her  dark skin and hair, her eyes is in such contrast that is the first thing you notice, and how frightfully they truly are.
Her facial features are well shaped and rather beautiful, though a bit cold and emotionless; as well most of the time hidden behind her mask. The darkblue hair is short and hangs down her chin, with a extra long bang over the right eye, that have a notorious scar over it. The rest of body is slender and more then curvy though it is things people tend to miss, mostly because her intimidating eyes and presence.

What she never show people around her, always hidden by clothes, are the tattoos she got through the arrancars, namely The Espada; 7th Desolace Grimoire. Those tattoos are all skulls, covering her lower arms and hands, her thighs, back and around her throat and her lower face.
It's just not the horrible look of them; they seem to have own life, moving and seemingly talking without sounds, glaring and laughing at her and everything.

Wears a black top that reach down over her breasts, which shows much of her cleavage as well lower part of her breasts; the top then collects around the neck and up to a mask that cover lower part of the face. A sleeveless white jacket over the top, that also is her haori and covers her back and over the mask, with a belt from the jacket that are buttoned under her breasts.
It all leaves her stomach naked.
Black gloves cover up to her elbows while a white belt made out of cloth keeps her black hakamas in place.

Like much of her, is Yorumei's past clouded and the oldest record of her past is that when she became part of Shihoin's noble house about two hundred years ago. It was the former head of Shihoin, Yorukuma, which took her in and made her his daughter. What they know, did Yorukuma pick her up far from the nicer part of Rukongai, suggesting that she is from darkest and most dangerous parts.
In that time, Yorumei was a mischievous and rebellious kid, which made ruckus in Shihoins house every day. Even with rigorous training that she went through, didn't it stop her from being a kid.
Even when she grew up to a beautiful woman didn't she change, exception was that her will was even stronger, 'stubborn as a wild boar' as her father usually said; she refused to play others  game.
Even when she became shinigami, and part of Omnitsukido, was her personality cheerful and open-minded, still acting childish in an adult woman's body.
But that would change about 150 years ago, as she killed Yorukuma.

Yorukuma had been sentenced for treason against Soul Society, as he tried to overthrow the balance in Soul Society. The Omnitsukido was to track and hunt him down, and by order from the Captain Commander wasn't Yorumei allowed to join the mission; it affected her personally too much, as her father was the interpreter.
However, she couldn't allow them to kill him before she learned the truth, and snuck out to track him. Even if she had played around much of her youth and in training, was her tracking skills second to only her father, and after many weeks of patient seeking did she track him down; in Hueco Mundo.

Among the white dunes in Hueco Mundo would she caught up with him; and there ends the story that the common shinigami know. The rest is highly classified, and not even all captains know about it.
She was overpowered by the Espadas; Keifer Cel and Grimoire Desolace. Yorumei tried to speak with her father, but he didn't answer, saying she was too stubborn and never should have followed him; this brought her own undoing.
Her will and mind was crushed by the facts of that her father seemed to work with the Espadas, their enemies and letting them take her away. In Las Noches, that became her home, did she become just a mere tool of flesh, slave under arrancars sickly pleasure; years of torture and rape, sometime both at the same time scarred her mind more than her body.
It was the Espada Grimoire Desolace that marked her body, both as a shackle and a proof that she belonged to them.

Her hatred for them grows each day, showing no boundries; she became a vessel for not only their pleasure but as well an experiment. To bread a pure being with the blood and power of a shinigami and a hollow.
It took years before she got pregnant, and that was a time of solitude, she was locked away and they just waited for her to receive the child; only Grimoire Desolace was allowed to visit her, making sure that she didn't succumb to her will to die.
The child never survived, as she got a miscarriage. Yet, it didn't stop their gruesome experiment upon her body; her mind had become just a blank.
Four times did she miscarriage, they blamed her being weak and not able to carry a strong child, others stated the fact that a child with the genes and power of a hollow and shinigami never could be born. However, the fifth pregnancy gifted in a child, the smallest of boys, only alive because of the unique and seemingly powerful hollow regeneration.
Desolace that had taken care of Yorumei and her birth giving, let her hold her son, felt it small life resting against her chest, a painfully small hand hugging her finger. For the first time in years did she show other emotions then hatred, pain and anger; happiness. The small life gave mind and will life again, even if it was short-lived as Desolace took the child from her hands, and she never saw the boy again.

The experiments was done and she wasn't needed anymore; barely regained from the birth-giving, was she tossed to be whatever the arrancars desired; flesh of pleasure or just food. However, before she was devoured entirely in the darkness, did a spark of hope light, as she somehow found her way out from Las Noches.
How she did that, not even she knows; her mind was already delirious over all years in there that she couldn't tell herself.
What she knew was that her father was lying dead in front of her, with her kunai stabbed into his throat, cold and dead. Her body was wrecking of pain, her mind of mixed emotions as she started to drag his body away from there, and would with time come back to Soul Society.
Somehow, did she complete her mission, after being missing in action for 13 years.

Hanami Sakura, captain of Division 4, was the one that healed and checked Yorumei up, first stating that the woman wasn't able to continue the work as a Shinigami, however did Yorumei prove that wrong. Not only did she train harder than anyone else, she evoke her right as leader of the Shihoin family [which would cause a political debate over years], a noble family that almost succumbed to annalhation under her first years of ruling, before she was able to trust her grandparents and the others enough to let them help with it.
As well did it lead to her leading the Omnitsukido, that first two years was forced by her to a cruel slaughter and missions in Hueco Mundo, a fanatical search for a way to kill every single hollow; however as many in the Omnitsukido died, did the Captain Commander put an enforcing on her and the group, not allowing more missions to the Hueco Mundo without his permissions.

Over the latest fifty years have she slowly turned from the broke down and vengeance driven woman to the cold person she is today. A woman mostly all know as cruel and cold; obsessed with her hatred against the arrancars.

Other
¤ Her cold demeanor and acting against others push people away from her, and only her lieutenant Anbu seem to be able to withstand her, and always following her. Even if she never said anything about it, does she appreciate the big man always following her, giving her a security she never feels otherwise.
¤ Her memory are still rather messy and dark after the 13 years among the Arrancars, however, she is still haunted by nightmares, and among most things; she wonder what happened to the boy she gave birth to.

Yorumei is truly a master of assassination and without slightest mercy as she appear to and usually kill her target before they know her existence. When battle head on she use a varied shape of styles, just to overrun her opponent with her incredible hard reading movements; usually ending up with over-mobilize her opponent.

Kido Skilled - A skilled user of Kido, that have an uncanny ability to use even the weakest spell with good efficiency; even worse, use them for torture.
Zanjutsu Master - A master of blade, classed as a masterful user of it, preferable using her short kunai, giving her an immense mobility and speed, compensating for the lack of range. The lack of power is compensated by her deadly precision, always aiming for vital points; always go in for a fast and quiet kill.
Hakuda Master - Duo her nature, have she always found a deep interest in close-combat without weaponry, that Yorumei combines greatly with her short kunai. Even if she hate being close to people, is closeness her greatest weapon, haltering the enemies movement with her body.
Hoho Master - Among the Shihoin that have been said to be natural masters of Hoho, have Yorumei moved above them all, said to be the strongest of them all and founder of many new techniques involving her mobility; combined with her merciless fighting style.
Torture/Interrogation Master - The years of torture have shaped her mind as well, giving her the cruel side to not ever falter while torturing a person; may it be a man, woman or a child. Usually she don't need to use her abilities for long however, as the victim usually succumb to the pain rather quickly.
Assassination/Tracker Master - Among her abilities, is the ruling of assassination her strongest; rarely do she fight in the open as her enemies falls before they know she is there. Able to move and blend in with the surrounding, is she able to come up close with her victim. As well is she able to hunt down even the hardest criminal to find, her senses are honed for it; not only her perception, also her mind to comprehend the information given from the surrounding and get the fact she needs for tracking her victim.

Name: Tsumefugen [Silence Claw]
Spirit: A man clouded in darkness, with only white eyes glowing through the thick darkness. Never speaking a word, does the spirit communicate via telepathy and simple signs with his hands.
Type: Melee
Appearance: That of a kunai, with a black-blue handle. It is missing a tsuba, and is usually just hanging in her belt.
Inner World
Its just darkness everywhere, giving a creepy sensation of falling.

Shikai
Release: Kiritateri Tsumefugen [To Slash Tsumefugen]
Appearance: The katana turns into a glove with three long claws between the knuckles, black as the blade is.
Ability
Have one rather quiet and not so flashy ability, but way to perfect for Yorumei.

Damarikomu [To sink into silence]
A passive ability, and only one her shikai has. It is that only one scratch will leave the person completely silenced. No word can be said, no falling to the ground will be heard. Nothing. Not even if they break a window will it sound.
This affect even object, as cutting a sword will do that it does not sound, or cutting a building and the entire house will become without sound. Though alone is not an powerful ability, but for an assassin it is superior to most and considering that most shinigamis/hollows must use word to call ability and use them, you get the idea how dangerous it actually is.

The duration of this ability is unknown.

Bankai -
Name: Kuikorosu no Nikumu Hitan Itami, Tsumefugen [Be Devoured by Hate Sorrow Pain, Tsumefugen]
Appearance: The gloves and its claws growth in size and covers her arm with a bulky plate shielding the side of her head and the fingers turns to claws instead, long blades in length with her own arm, all in black and deepest blue. It's a rather obscure weapon, in size of her own body and a reason why she hates it, as its hard to use it for assassinations.
Ability
The abilities around her bankai rest around immense cutting power and silence.

Heisoku [Being cowed to silence]
From the abnormal glove a gas is released and has the exact same effect as the claws from her shiaki has. Anything that is touched by it will turn completly silenced, this make an abnormal silence aura around her, reaching around five-ten meters. Also having another effect; with her Tsume no Dandoudan.

Tsume no Dandoudan [Claw Missiles]
By aiming is she able to send the claws, five at total, like missiles through the air, able to follow a target she have affected with the gas. Either she control them by her mind, moving them with her gloved hand, or they follow without mercy, through water and fire to find it target, shredding it to pieces.

Fukashikousen  [Invisible Ray]
The strongest power in her arsenal is the Invisible Ray,  a power where her arm collects a huge amount of reiatsu from the shields valves, and concentrate it with the gas. The mix create a huge amount of energy, however its barely able to feel it, like is invisible.
From her hand will she then send the energy, not unlike a cero, however, a cero no one see, duo it being invisible, creating a devastating force that few can counter or measure the power off.
